Hey Everyone! My name is Sneha Dutta a very heartwarming welcome to my page Arties Crafts. So here's my story. That How I'm leading a double life as a part-timer sketch artist and full time student. I used to draw since childhood, had a lot of interest in drawing and making something new, but never thought to working on it as professional , I used draw landscapes, cartoon but haven't tried for making portraits. Also because of study I have to keep this field as a hobby only but I really want to do something in this field. So, after my 12th, I started to focus on sketches too as well as study. Managing both works together it getting quite difficult for me, plus as IT student comes with lots of coding and pratices, many of people asked me "why did you choosed this career then, why didn't you go for graphics designing or anything related to drawing or designing" my answer is to them TRUST ME, you have no idea how badly i want to make a career in graphics but have to deal with real life, the real issuse the majority face while choosing there career similar was mine Financial issue, I told my family I want to purse my career on graphic design, however my family have always been supportive but the financial condition was not that good and I live in a small town barely have good university available, So that's the reason I choosed IT it was available in this city and also my second option was IT only. So Then in 2020 we all know this covid hits us, lockdown started at that time everyone was so free no study, no work, like nothing literally. So, I thought why don't I started with my hobby, it took me few months to learn all the tips and tricks can be used in sketch. I'm a self-taught so for that I have watched many videos but to be honest I have learned only few things like few tricks but haven't got the results I wanted. So here's a thing I learned that it need patience so i decided not to quit and continue doing it. Took me few months more but i had started to see the results, the result is completely visible. And then my family start to engage with me, my dad gave the idea of starting a small business on this field, post it on the social media so that people can know about it. So i did. It's been years I have started it as professional way I literally can't express my feelings that how happy I am. For me sketching is everything if I can't express my feeling by using words I simply drew that in a paper and that paper turns into a feeling and masterpiece for me. Every single time I complete my drawing I just couldn't take my eyes off, it's gives me bufferflies. I'm kind of obessed with my artworks specially the realistic ones, they make me feel so alive so I can't resist that feelings.
